Project Brief
In your groups, you will research emerging trends in fashion media, examining new issues and opportunities for your media brand. This will involve studying historical and current contexts, creating case studies, gathering insights from industry experts, and collecting data to share collaboratively. You will then develop a strategic response for your media brand, which could be a special project, a brand extension, or a revamp, ensuring that the business, content, and creative aspects are considered. Your ideas and outcomes will be rooted in your research

Our Approach
We chose to research Merde Magazine created by Molly Apple. This magazine is very provocative, eccentric, and new age. I brainstormed the idea to create Merde Club as Merde’s extension after doing extensive research on similar concepts. By clicking the button, you can see the final brand proposal the 3 of us came up with. This proposal earned us the highest grade in the class.
